The current Indian captain has broken some records of Sachin Tendulkar while he is about to reach some more records build by the legendary cricketer. Meanwhile, they share an interesting record in IPL.
Mumbai Indians’ Sachin scored his first IPL century against Kochi Tuskers Kerala in 2011, while RCB’s Kohli scored the first IPL hundred against Gujrat Lions in 2016. Interestingly, both the players had completed a century on the last ball of the innings and remained unbeaten. Also, the duo registered their maiden century as captain and opener. Moreover, their century went into vain as both the teams had to face defeat in that match.
