4. Not just a regular occurrence:
On 22 April 2018 (Sunday), Sunrisers Hyderabad hosted Chennai Super Kings, and Rajasthan Royals hosted Mumbai Indians. Chennai won the game by a narrow margin of 4 runs, and Ambati Rayudu was adjudged Man of the Match for 79 runs off 37 balls. Later in the evening, Rajasthan defeated Mumbai by three wickets, and Rohit Sharma was run out on the first ball.
This strange feat was repeated in the season. On Sunday 13 May, in the same season, Chennai hosted Hyderabad in Pune while Mumbai hosted Hyderabad in at the Wankhede stadium. CSK won the match by eight wickets, and Ambati Rayudu won the Man of the Match award and scored his first IPL century. Hours later, Rajasthan defeated Mumbai in the evening and then Mumbai captain Rohit was out on the Golden Duck in the match.
