The T20 format has always been providing us with a lot of entertainment value because of the number of boundaries and the high scores that it provides us in every game. And when there is a mismatch between the two teams, it will not take long for records to be broken.

In the group stage of the T20 World Cup in 2008, Sri Lanka were all over Kenya as they punished them and put 260 runs on the board after being put into bat by the African side. Jayasuriya (88 of 44) and Jayawardene (65 of 27) were superb on the night as Sri Lanka posted the highest ever score in international T20’s a record that has not been broken up to date.
