The most successful T20 captain in International cricket, MS Dhoni has plenty of another record to his name in the shortest format of the game. Ever since the inauguration of the T20 format of the sport, Dhoni was in-charge of the Indian squad and has given them plenty of things to cheer about.
Having also lifted the World Cup in 2007, Dhoni lost out in a final against Sri Lanka next term and knocked out of the semi-final in the most recent tournament. He has had a stellar career and has lead India in 67 T20 matches to date. With still some time left for his retirement, he will only increase the number which is now a record for the most matches a captain in T20 internationals. William Porterfield of Ireland and Darren Sammy of West Indies are the next captains in the list but are at least 20 appearances away from MSD.
