The current Indian captain got his first ODI century in a tense 300+ run chase against Sri Lanka in late 2009 at Kolkata. That knock was just a little glimpse of what was to follow in the years to proceed as Kohli, along with his Delhi teammate Gautam Gambhir guided India in a nervous run chase to steer the side to a series win. The knock from Kohli was so special that post the game, Gambhir asked the 21-year-old to join him at the presentation ceremony.
