3. KS Bharat:

The wicketkeeper-batsman has been many times called as the substitute in the Test team. Against Bangladesh, Rishabh Pant and Shubhman Gill were released to play the domestic matches while KS Bharat was called as their substitute.
Thus, he is in the eye of team management but has not been given opportunities. In the Ranji Trophy 2019-20 season, the Andhra player scored an unbeaten century against Vidarbha. He also scored half-centuries against Goa and Rajasthan. Also, he is a reliable wicketkeeper.
However, keeping him only as a backup or substitute might demotivate the 26-year old. So, he deserved to be given a permanent place in the Test squad.
