Tim Paine – For now, he has already been appointed as the captain of the Australian team for the fourth Test match as Cricket Australia did not say that he has been given the job on permanent basis.
Since the board has decided to give him the job once, it should stick with him and give him a longer role.
He made his Test debut along with Steven Smith in 2010 and had a healthy experience of playing in the first-class format.
If given the job on a permanent basis, it will though come as a surprise but as said, Cricket Australia should now stick with him and give him a longer rope.
