2. The ‘Joe Root’ Factor
Regarded as one of the better batsman of the modern day game, Root still remains the most feared batsman for Indians in the England’s batting line-up. Having said so, the right-handed batsman has a hundred and a fifty to his name in the four innings so far.
Conventional and yet attacking at the same time, the Yorkshire born Root has had the better of India’s ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin as he has been dismissed only once by the spinner in four innings.
With his sound technique, effective feet movements and sharp reflexes, he is for sure a tough nut to crack if India eyes to avenge two back-to-back Test series loss against England.
