Karun Nair’s triple-century

One of two Indian batsmen to score a triple-century in Test cricket, Nair has played six Tests and two ODIs and can make a comeback in the national squad but his triple-century was the only occasion when he stole the limelight. Playing the third Test of his career, against England in Chennai, Nair scored 303* off 381 as India put up a mammoth total of 759/7.
Nair joined the elite list with a triple-century and remains only batsman after Virender Sehwag to achieve the feat for India. He hasn’t played a Test since 2017 and isn’t in the scheme of things for now. Nair was a part of the Test squad for England tour in 2018 but didn’t get a chance.
