Hrishikesh Kanitkar

Kanitkar played 34 ODIs and two Tests in the 1990s but is best remembered for his match-winning boundary in the final of Independence Cup off Saqlain Mushtaq. With three runs needed to win off two deliveries, Kanitkar hit a four off the spinner to finish the things one ball early.
Despite playing his last international match in 2000, Kanitkar continued to play domestic cricket before retiring in 2015. In 2016/17 season, he coached Tamil Nadu to a Vijay Hazare Trophy triumph. He was also associated with IPL franchise Rising Pune Supergiant. Kanitkar is now also involved with India U19 and India A squads.
