5. Venkatesh Prasad:
With 292 international wickets, Prasad had a decent international career. Following retirement, the retired pacer took to coaching as he trained the Under-19 side and later took the role of coach of his state side Karnataka. He was appointed India’s bowling coach for the tour of Bangladesh in May 2007. Prasad received accolades from various members of the Indian squad and worked well with India’s promising new-ball pair, Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma. His coaching stint with the team coincided with one of the best phases of team India as they won test series in England and New Zealand. Apart from that he also worked as bowling coach for the IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings.
