Gautam Gambhir engages with IPL fans from India:
Although Gautam Gambhir has not been present in the commentary box in the UAE, he has communicated with the Indian Premier League (IPL) fans through the live streams and post and pre-match shows. He has been open while keeping his views on all the subjects of the league.
Talking about MS Dhoni, in an interview, he had stated that the former Indian captain should be retained as the captain of the Chennai Super Kings even though the franchise had a disappointing season. He reasoned that Dhoni has given his blood, sweat and had many sleepless nights for the Yellow Army and thus, deserved to remain their captain for the next season.
Meanwhile, apart from giving his insight on the game, Gautam Gambhir is an active politician in Delhi. He had joined politics after retiring from all forms of cricket in 2018.
