Apart from all the seriousness and tension, Indo-Pak game comes with its own share of sarcasm and fun. The latest example is of Pakistan Journalist, Nazrana Ghaffar, who was so miffed with Pakistan’s defeat that she ended up making a weird demand out of frustration.
India and Pakistan once again met in a much – talked about Champions Trophy clash at Edgbaston, Birmingham. The game was widely awaited by fans who were deprived of competition between the two sides.
The match, unfortunately, ended in a Pakistan defeat and the fans back home could not take it. Their men had once again lost to their arch rivals and this time it was in a greater embarrassing fashion.
India completely outclassed their opposition in all three departments to script 124 runs win (DLS). Batting first India posted 319/3 riding on the fifties from Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh. In response, Pakistan succumbed to 164/9 in 33.4 overs. This performance did not go down well and as expected there was criticism.
Nazrana was one of the fans who had her evening ruined and switched to Twitter for venting out the anger. She started off by praising India and later charged at the Pakistan team before eventually asking Kohli in return for the entire Pakistan cricket team!
Dear Pakistan groups of players – at least pretend that you are trying winning. Pathetic performance as ever. #PakvInd

The trolls weren’t too far and she got a fair share of it. Here are a few of it.

It was a clasic case of believers getting bogged down completely. Just like Nazrana, hordes, Pakistan fans hoped a worthy show at least. They hoped for a neck to neck clash where the Men in Green would put in a dedicated effort. But, the team failed their followers and ended up attracting some heated reactions.
The Sarfraz Ahmed led side committed blunders right from the toss time. Starting with the decision to bowl and deploying left arm spinner Imad Wasim for six straight overs while keeping Wahab Riaz waiting to dropped catches and spineless batting show, they just let the match slip away. The Indians, logically, did only one thing right throughout the match day – maintain consistency.
Fortunately, Pakistan learned from their mistakes and resurrected themselves to stay alive in the competition by winning the following game against South Africa by 19 runs (DLS).
