Glenn McGrath Selects Top Three Pacers In International Cricket
Former legendary Australian fast bowler Glenn McGrath has picked the top three pacers in International cricket. The fast bowlers have been right on the money in the recent past and McGrath has come up with his point of view. McGrath believes India’s Jasprit Bumrah, South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada, and Australia ace paceman Pat Cummins are the top three bowlers in the world.
Bumrah has been one of the most consistent bowlers in the world in all three forms of the game. However, he hasn’t been at his best in the recent past since he has made a comeback in international cricket after an injury layoff. Bumrah made a stunning start to his Test career as he was able to hit the ground running.
Bumrah, Cummins, Rabada are the best in the game.
On the other hand, Pat Cummins is currently the number one bowler in the Test fold and he had scalped 99 wickets in all the three forms of the game in 2019. Cummins has bowled with great pace and accuracy in the last couple of years.
Furthermore, Kagiso Rabada has carried the onus of South African bowling on his shoulders. Rabada has been accurate with his line and length and he is one of the best in the business. The gun pacer hasn’t quite received the support he needs from the other end.
These bowlers have taken fast bowling to new heights.
Meanwhile, McGrath jokingly said that all the three Australian fast bowlers, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood are the best in the world. However, then he mentioned his favorite bowlers. McGrath also added that he likes the way New Zealand bowling machine, Neil Wagner bowls.
“All Aussies. Pat Cummins, Josh Hazelwood and Mitchell Starc. (Laughter). But seriously, Pat Cummins, Jasprit Bumrah and Kagiso Rabada. I like Neil Wagner too,” Glenn McGrath told Times of India.
McGrath was one of the best fast bowlers to have ever embraced the game and there is no doubt that he has hit the nail on the head with his selection.
