Great innings by Indian batsman that ended in a heartbreak

Yuvraj’s139 against Australia in 2004 is his highest score in One Day Internationals. But his excellent innings went into vain because of that Brett Lee’s six in the last over.

India didn’t have a good start as they lost three-wicket at 80. But Yuvraj Singh showed his brilliant batting skills against Australia’s bowling line up. He scored 139 off 122 balls, and along with fellow centurion VVS Laxman [106] helped India post an imposing 4-296 in 50 overs.

While chasing the target, Indian bowlers had the command over the game. Australia needed seven runs in the last two balls, and Brett Lee was in the crease. He pulled the ball off the boundary and Ied Australia to nail-biting victory. And, very few people remember the best knock of the sixer king which had put Australian’s under pressure.
