A few ago South African pacer Dale Steyn gave a pleasant surprise to every cricket fan when he posted a video on his Instagram account which showed him playing cricket with children on the streets.
This time,Kiwi batsman visited the Dharavi slums in Mumbai to get a tour and played cricket with the kids.
The right-hander who remained unsold in the auction, was added to the Mumbai Indians squad as a replacement for Lendl Simmons, decided to take some time off his IPL duties,
and spend some time with Dharavi kids and play cricket with them.
In a video posted by him on Instagram, Guptill,dressed in a black T-shirt with shades, was seen bowling and posing for photos. Surrounded by a cluster of people, Guptill somehow managed to bowl while others were busy taking his video.
His post on Instagram read: “Had a good morning today at Dharavi playing cricket and having a guided tour. A very cool place to visit. Highly recommend going there if you are ever in Mumbai!
