Harbhajan Singh secured his place in the elite club of 700 plus international wickets in the third ODI against Bangladesh. Put into bat India posted a total of 276 with a maiden century from Kedhar Jadhav. In reply Zimbabwe struggled to chase down the total and failed miserably once again and got rolled over below 200 which completed another whitewash for the Indians in Zimbabwean turf.
In the process, Harbhajan etched his name in the elite club by picking up 700 international wickets with Sikandar Raza being the victim. He is the 12th bowler to pick up 700 plus international wickets. Harbhajan has been a successful bowler for India over the years and has produced some excellent performances and found his place in the list deservedly so. He is the second Indian to feature in the list behind Anil Kumble.
Muttiah Muralitharan, the off spinner from Sri Lanka tops the list with 1347 wickets from 483 international appearances. Secondly it’s the Leg Spinner from Australia who has affected 1001 victims in the 339 international matches he played.
