India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has come down heavily on a Jet Airways pilot for an alleged racial and physical attack on an Indian passenger on the flight.

The veteran tweaker, who is currently playing for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League, took to Twitter to reveal an unfortunate event that took place on a Jet Airways flight. In a series of tweets, the 36-year old said that the pilot not only made racial remarks against an Indian passenger but also assaulted a lady and abused a disabled man.

“So called this Bernd Hoesslin a pilot with @jetairways called my fellow Indian(u bloody Indian get out of my flight)while he is earning here,” he tweeted.

In his second tweet, he called the whole incident disgraceful and claimed that the alleged pilot assaulted a lady and abused a physically challenged man.

“Not only was he racist but physically assaulted a lady and abused a physically challenged man..absolutely disgraceful &shame on @jetairways (Sic),” tweeted Harbhajan.

In his next tweet, the World Cup-winning spinner demanded that strict actions must be taken and such activities should not be allowed or tolerated in the country before urging his fellow countrymen to sort out the issue.

The Punjab ace went on to appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take action against the shameful incident.

Harbhajan was reacting to the incident that had taken place on the flight on April 3 when music director Jatinder Shah and Bollywood marketing professional Pooja Singh Gujral were travelling from Chandigarh to Mumbai. Gujral had previously narrated the whole incident on Facebook, claiming how she and the wheelchair-bound Shah were abused by the pilot.
