Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh slammed MNS workers for thrashing an apparent immigrant in Mumbai.

The reason is yet to be known, but in a video, which Times of India posted on their twitter account, it was seen  that  MNS workers vandalized the fruits vendor who was standing on a roadside with a van full of fruits.

This kind of assault on immigrants in Mumbai happens very often. In the stronghold of Shiv Sena, the workers used to vandalize their stall and vans.

The anti-Bihar sentiment among the Shiv Sena and MNS workers is very common. Nowadays MNS and Shivsena try to  attack them to get a political benefit.

Bihar is a poverty-ridden state, so people of eastern Indian state leave for different states in order to get a job.

But in Maharashtra, the anti-north Indian sentiment is very prevalent.

Earlier, in 2008 MNS and Shiv Sena workers attacked Bihari and North Indians as they thought Biharis eroded the ground level jobs in Mumbai.

Besides these, Biharis are also a victim of discrimination, prejudice, and violence.

As per the constitution of Indian, an Indian citizen has right to reside anywhere I India. But Biharis faces assault and exhortation in Maharashtra because of the political interest of Shiv Sena and MNS.

Cricketers Harbhajan Singh felt pretty sad for the incident so he tweeted and protested against the incident. The Mumbai police yet to take any action against the attackers.
