It is always a dream come true for any budding cricketer to make his International debut for the national side. That dream of Hardik Pandya was fulfilled three years ago on 16th October when he got his maiden ODI cap from legendary former captain Kapil Dev.  Pandya had made his debut against New Zealand at Dharamshala. Since then, Pandya has been an integral part of the Indian team in all the three formats of the game.

The Baroda all-rounder had a stunning debut as he scalped three wickets in the seven overs he bowled. The right-arm pacer conceded only 31 runs in his spell. However, the right-hander did not get a chance to bat as India won that match convincingly by six wickets.

Pandya has done a fine job.

On the other hand, Hardik Pandya recently went through knee surgery. Thus, Pandya is recuperating after the surgery.

Meanwhile, Pandya recently played in the T20I series against South Africa. Pandya had scalped two wickets in the two matches of the T20I series. The right-hander didn’t get a chance to bat in the first T20I match whereas the talisman had failed to get going in the second T20I match as he crawled to 14 runs from 18 balls.
