Hardik Pandya Shares Crazy Birthday Video Where He is Getting Smeared by Cake

Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya has made a name for himself on the international circuit and has emerged and has emerged as one of India’s leading players especially in the limited overs format. Even in his maiden Test series against Sri Lanka, he looked a composed man and scored his maiden international century. His rise to the top has been rapid, and his presence in the team has given the ideal balance to India which they were looking for a long period.

Taking to his twitter handle, Hardik shared a video of his birthday where his teammates are smashing cake all over him. The all-rounder celebrated his anniversary on 11th October, and the party in the dressing room was way beyond imagination. As Hardik cut the cake, his teammates started smearing cake all over him, and the most animated of them all was leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal who was seen spreading cake all over Hardik’s body.

Later when Hardik realised that he couldn’t save himself from cake smearing, he started smearing cake all by himself. His caption of the video read, “Everyone’s birthday comes once a year… revenge will be “sweet” #cakesmash #throwback #birthday #teamindia”. Meanwhile, Hardik will be raring to go once India takes on New Zealand in the limited overs series starting on 22nd October.

The all-rounder played a pivotal role in helping India clinch the five-match ODI series against Australia by a 4-1 margin. He was impressive with both bat and the ball and proved to be the game changer for the Men in Blue. In the first encounter, Hardik smashed a sensational 81 when the chips were down for India and took India to 281 from a precarious score of 87/5. He also bagged a couple of crucial wickets to give India a 1-0 lead.

He was promoted to No.4 on a couple of occasions, and he didn’t disappoint, In the Indore ODI, the hard-hitting batsman yet again played a match-winning knock which helped India to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series. Despite being only 49 international matches old, Pandya looks a prospect for the future and the team management must take care of him and give him enough rest so that his career doesn’t end prematurely.
