In what turned out to be the final over of the match, Hasan Ali dropped an easy catch of Australia batter Matthew Wade, who then smoked three sixes in three balls to win the match for his team.
On Saturday, the speed merchant of the Babar Azam-led side issued an apology to Pakistani fans after the national team’s exit from the 2021 edition of the ICC T20 World Cup. Taking to Twitter, the pacer shared a lengthy note and vowed to serve the Pakistan cricket team at the highest level.
