Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), on Wednesday, announced that at least 18 players’ central contract will come into effect from 1st of July 2020. The board has made some surprising decisions as senior players Mohammad Amir, and Wahab had missed out on the deal. The youngster Hasan Ali, who made the debut in 2016, also lost his contract. Hasan, soon after his snub from the central contract, posted an interesting tweet but later deleted it. However, a fan took the screenshot of the tweet and posted it.

Hasan Ali played a significant role in Pakistan’s Champions Trophy 2017 triumph. Last year, his form dipped and to make things worse, he picked up an injury which led his ouster from the team. He last played for Pakistan against India in the World Cup 2019.

On Wednesday, taking Twitter, the 25-year-old posted a picture where he is posing his trademark celebration. He also gave it a caption reading, “This celebration is not just for bowling”.

But the mystery remains that was Hasan happy with the decision from his snub or what message he wanted to pass through this tweet. Fans became more curious about the answer after he deleted his post.

However, a fan was successful in taking the screenshot of the post and made it viral.

Misbah-Ul-Haq on the omission of Hasan Ali from PCB’s central contract:

Pakistan’s Chief Selector and Head Coach Misbah-ul-Haq gave the reason behind Hasan’s drop out from the contract. He said that the youngster was mostly not the part of 2019-2020 season so the board decided not to renew his contract.

“The selectors have made the tough decisions to leave out Amir, Hasan and Wahab but considering Hasan missed most of the season due to an injury and Amir and Wahab decided to focus on white-ball cricket, this was the right move,” Misbah said.

Interestingly, the young pacer Naseem Shah has earned the contract. Last year, he became the young player to pick hat-trick in the Test format.
