8. New Zealand:

Brendon McCullum holds the record for the highest individual score for New Zealand in Test cricket after scoring 302 against India in 2014. His team was staring down the barrel after India took a huge lead of 246 runs in the first innings and then reduced the Black Caps to 94 for 5 in the second innings. However, Brendon McCullum thwarted their hopes with one of the best Test innings ever played. From 94/5, McCullum crafted a brilliant fight back to leave the Indian team shell-shocked. Coming out to bat in the first session of day three with an innings defeat and a squandered series lead imminent, McCullum became the first Kiwi batsman to score a triple century in Test cricket.
