Nasim-ul-Ghani (Pakistan):
Pakistan’s tour of England in 1962 was not an easy one for the team from the sub-continent as they were outplayed in most of the 6 test matches in the series. In the second test, Pakistan were all out for 100 in the first innings but managed to stop England’s lead at 270.
They only managed to score 355, setting England a target of 86 which was an easy one. However, Nasim-ul-Ghani had a day to remember as he managed to top-score for his side in both the innings. In the first, he scored 17 which was the highest in the innings while in the second he managed to score a century as night-watchmen and lost his wicket at 101 of just 180 balls in an innings that saved some blushes for his side.
