3. Tamim Iqbal:
Bangladesh’s ODI captain Tamim Iqbal is the vital cog of his side for now over a decade. He is one of the finest attacking opening batsmen of the sub-continent. He has a massive contribution to taking the Tigers to great heights at the international level.
In the Champions Trophy 2017, his team reached the semi-finals of the tournament but failed to register a victory against India. He had scored 70 runs in the marquee clash to led Bangladesh set up the target of 265 runs. But his effort went into vain as Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli took away the game with their marvellous batting.
Tamim was the highest scorer for Bangladesh in the tournament, scoring 293 runs in four matches. His run tally also includes a century which he struck against England at the Oval.
