Not 1, not 2, they are 3 brothers and out of these three, the oldest one Kamran Akmal was the first one to make it into intentional cricket. Going by age the second one in the list is Adnan Akmal who is 31 years old but was the last one to make it to the national squad. Umar Akmal the youngest of all made it to the team before Adnan Akmal.

Kamran made his debut at an age of 20 and was a permanent member of the team for much time. He played 53 Test matches and 154 ODI’s for his team. He has made many comebacks till now but always due to his poor form, he saw himself dropped from the squad many times. Umar Akmal the youngest one has only played 16 Test matches till now with last test appearance coming in the year 2011; still, he is a permanent member of the limited-overs team.

He is the backbone of the middle order of Pakistan cricket team and unlike his two brothers, he has a long career ahead of him. Adnan Akmal has played in 21 Test’s and 5 ODI’s and chances of his comeback in the international arena seem to be very dim and bleak and yes it can be said that he is the weakest among all the three brothers. All three brothers are famous for sloppy wicket-keeping skills.
