Amaranth brothers
The sons of former famous cricketer Lala Amarnath were also cricketers namely Mohinder Amarnath, Surinder Amaranth and Rajinder Amaranth. Mohinder Amarnath was successful of all the brothers as he went on to play 69 Test matches and 85 ODIs. He was also the part of the world cup winning team in 1983 and moreover he was the man of the match of the final game. He brought many laurels to the country mainly because he played much more than his brothers.
Surinder Amarnath was the eldest among all the brothers and he played 10 Test matches and just 3 ODIs for Indian team whereas the youngest brother Rajinder Amarnath could just mark his presence in 36 first-class matches and 1 List A contest. The trio decided to follow the footsteps of their father but it was Mohinder Amarnath who was most successful, more than his father.
