Today was the 13th match of the Big Bash League 2014-15. Today’s match was a mayhem for the bowlers. We saw of lots and lots of runs and boundaries. And there were lots of half-centuries also. Most of the batsmen flourished and the bowlers perished. Here are the Hits and Flops of the match.

1. Jimmy Peirson
Jimmy Peirson was the opening batsman of the Brisbane Heat. He was in great form today. No bowler was a match to him. He hit everyone hard. He scored 57 runs in just 35 balls with a strike rate of 162.9 and hit 6 boundaries and 2 sixes.
2. Peter Forrest
Peter Forrest was another amazing batsman today. He scored huge runs today. He and Jimmy Peirson scored 119 runs in partnership today. Out which he alone scored 62 runs. His strike rate was 144.9 and he hit 7 boundaries and 1 six.
3. Daniel Christian
Daniel Christian scored runs at a very high rate. In just 9 balls he scored 34 runs with a strike rate of 377.8. He hit 2 boundaries and 4 sixes. He quick runs was of great help when the top order batsman were out.
4. Ben Cutting
Ben Cutting scored runs magically at the death overs. In just 5 balls he scored 19 runs with an outstanding strike rate of 380. He hit the 3 sixes. His runs crossed the 200 mark.
5. Ben Dunk

Darren Sammy was the most expensive bowler today. He gave away 51 runs in just 4 overs. His economy was 12.8. He managed to pick up 1 wicket but it didn’t slow down the momentum of the batsmen.
2. Joe Mennie
Joe Mennie was too expensive today. He gave away 44 runs in 4 overs with an economy of 11. He too managed to pick up 1 wicket. But it came when the game almost ended.
3. Xavier Doherty
Xavier Doherty picked up no wickets today and gave a lot of runs. In his 4 overs, he gave away 32 runs with an economy of 8.
