1. Ashton Turner
Ashton Turner was the top scorer from Perth Scorchers. He played the fastest and had the highest strike rate. Although he was the best batsman today but his runs surely was an important factor in the victory of his team. He scored 37 runs from 25 balls with an amazing strike rate of 148. He hit 1 four and 2 sixes.
2. Sam Whiteman
Sam Whiteman too played an incredible innings for Perth Scorchers. He played an important innings with Ashton Turner. Together they scored 62 runs in partnership. He alone scored 36 runs from 32 balls with a strike rate of 112.5 and hit 2 fours and 1 six.
3. Tim Bresnan
Tim Bresnan was the best bowler today. He gave the least runs and took the most number of wickets. He was the only who broke the great partnership of Perth Scorchers. In his 4 overs he gave 18 runs with an economy of 4.5 and took 3 wickets.
4. Michael Hill
Michael Hill was the top scorer of today. He was the only who guided Hobart Hurricanes from a miserable position to winning position. But he lost his wicket in the death overs and was unable to secure victory for his team. He scored 64 runs from 55 balls with a strike rate of 116.4 and hit 5 fours and 1 six.
Flops of the Day
1. Michael Klinger
Michael Klinger was really a disappointment for the Perth Scorchers. He was the opening pair batsman. He wasted balls and scored very few runs. In 13 balls he scored only 6 runs and lost his wicket to Tim Bresnan in the 5th over.
2. Ben Hilfenhaus
Ben Hilfenhaus went home empty handed as he was unable to pick any wicket. Moreover he gave away the highest runs in the innings. In 4 overs he gave away 27 runs with an economy of 6.8.
3. Ben Dunk
Ben Dunk was the opening batsman. In previous matches he showed great performances but today was not his day. He scored only 1 run and lost his wicket to Jason Behrendorff in the 2nd over.
4. Shoaib Malik
Shoaib Malik, the all-rounder, too was a disappointment. He was not good in bowling and batting. In bowling he didn’t pick any wicket and in batting he scored only 8 runs and lost his wicket to Ashton Agar in the 9th over.
