MS Dhoni who tasted his first defeat this season in the IPL when a modest target set by the team from Chennai was easily scored by the batsmen from Rajasthan who now have won all the 5 games they have played this season.
Dhoni who came in after electing to bat a bit earlier than he wanted to after early wickets played along with Bravo who lifted a modest score to a respectable one but Dhoni looked out of sorts and couldn’t really score at a rate required by the team.
The Chennai Super Kings’ captain, MS Dhoni, was quick to admit that his 37-ball knock was a bit slow for the conditions and that him eating up the deliveries helped Rajasthan restrict them to a low total and thus walking away victorious.
Dhoni whose teams 3 match unbeaten run was stopped calmly added that it was an off day for the team and that the previous matches that they played had their toll on the player’s fitness.
Rahul Dravid the mentor for the team from Rajasthan also added that the victory was very crucial and that he was happy that they could restrict a team like CSK with their batting power to just a mere 160. He also felt that this was close to a perfect game for a team that is having a really good tournament.
