DHAKA: Bangladesh’s Tamim Iqbal acknowledges the crowd after scoring a century during the third one-day international cricket match against Afghanistan in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016. AP/PTI(AP10_1_2016_000134B)
  1. Dismiss Tamim Iqbal early:

With 223 runs so far in the competition, Tamim Iqbal has been the leading run-getter so far and has looked like a batsman on a mission. Iqbal doesn’t’ go hard at the ball early on and takes his time to settle in. Upon settling, however, Iqbal makes his start count and this is what makes him a danger sign against New Zealand. The Kiwis need to so his back as soon as possible and for that to happen Williamson must attack the southpaw. Even if Trent Boult needs to bowl an elongated spell, that shouldn’t be an issue, as long as the chances of sending Iqbal back remain high.
