Bangladesh’s spin resources this time around aren’t the strongest as all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been struggling with poor form. While he batted well against Australia, he wasn’t required to bowl with rain pouring down. Apart from Shakib, there aren’t many spin options for Bangladesh that can be relied on as wicket taking options. The Kiwi batsmen must exploit and build upon this fact and attack Shakib and the other spinners from the very start. Doing so will give Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza a serious headache.
