- Field Slip Ups and No Ball:
Bowling a no ball on a wicket ball is a cardinal sin. Sadly this proved too expensive for India in the context on the match. Pakistani opener Fakhar Zaman was on 2 runs when Jasprit Bumrah overstepped and the celebrations were cut short and eventually Zaman rode his luck to complete his maiden hundred in the big game. There were at least three occasions wherein the Indian fielders missed direct hits from short distances. The occasional wides and No Balls added insult to injury and thus helped Pakistan in posting a mammoth total.
