- Rare failure for Top 3:
India’s Champions Trophy campaign was characterized by the blistering starts given by the openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan to be followed by skipper marvelous Virat Kohli. Sadly, all 3 were victims of a superb spell bowled by Mohammed Amir. He tested Rohit with the first ball itself and later produced the perfect delivery to get rid of him. Kohli was out twice in 2 balls to Amir if not for the dropped catch by Azhar Ali. Kohli got out in a similar fashion as he did in WC 2011 semi final to Wahab Riaz. That was a colossal blow to India from which they failed to recover.
