ICC Champions Trophy 2017: Top 5 Bowling Figures In An Innings 2

  1. Mervyn Dillon – 5-29 vs Bangladesh, 2004

During West Indies’ triumphant run in the 2004 Champions Trophy in England, it was the daunting display of lanky pacer Mervyn Dillon which stood out as a positive recital. During West Indies’ game against Bangladesh at Southampton, the pacer had a ball as he decimated the Bangladesh batting lineup. Defending 269, Dillon broke Bangladesh’s spine with his fiery pace bowling as he was just too good for the Bangladesh batsmen. Few might recall the brilliance of Dillon that day, but in the context of West Indies’ victories run of 2004, the spell had a significant contribution.
