ICC Champions Trophy 2017: Top 5 Bowling Figures In An Innings 2

  1. Makhaya Ntini – 5-21 vs Pakistan, 2006:

Till date, South Africa haven’t been able to find an apt replacement for the dynamic Makhaya Ntini. The ace pacer was instrumental in the success achieved by the Proteas in limited overs, and once again stood out during the team’s campaign of the 2006 ICC Champions Trophy. Against Pakistan at Mohali, Ntini simply humiliated the helpless Pakistani batsmen as the men in green were bowled out for a paltry 89 in 25 overs, in pursuit of 214. Ntini’s 6 over spell included five wickets and all the wickets came while dismissing batsmen who batted in the top 6. Thereby, the pacer single-handedly decimated Pakistan with his aggressive fast bowling.
