1. England v West Indies, London, 2004:

England was looking well set to end their long wait for an ODI title when they had reduced the West Indies to 80 for 5 while defending 218.
Batting first, the hosts managed to put on 217 thanks to a dogged century from Marcus Trescothick. The score was never going to be an imposing one for Brian Lara’s men who had blown away every team that they had faced in their march to the title-decider. However, Andrew Flintoff and Steve Harmison were not ready to throw in the towel yet, firing on all cylinders to make light work of West Indies’ in-form top-order.
They kept on losing wickets at regular intervals and were looking destined for a humiliating loss when their last recognised batsmen were dismissed with 147 runs on the board. However, the men from the Caribbean registered a miraculous win after Courtney Browne and Ian Bradshaw shared an unbeaten partnership of 71 runs for the ninth wicket.
