New Zealand ready for sledging war with Australia says Corey Anderson

Corey Anderson, the New Zealand all-rounder accepts that his boys are prepared for a verbal attack from Australia in their high voltage International Cricket Council Cricket World Cup 2015 fight on Saturday in Auckland.

The Eden Park match is going to decide who will take the top place in Pool A and plays a comparatively puny team from Pool B in the quarter-finals. As an output, Anderson feels the Kiwis will face a charged-up Australia, but persists if the sledging begins, it will be one way traffic.

He told reporters that their sledging strategies are well known to everyone and something they have not participated themselves in,” Anderson also added that they are fairly neutral on the ground. They stick to what they do. They will be anticipating a bit of heat from them and he guesses that is part of their match-plan and Black Caps will just deal with it as it comes.

The 24 years old all- rounder, who has yet to face his trans-Tasman rivals, said that despite the two teams not having completed a game against each other since the 2011 World Cup when Australia won by 7 wickets, there will be few shocks which will appear on match day.

He further said that one can play these players without being in the international arena and see what they are like. Anderson said that they are not going to be foreign. He concluded saying that Australians are their neighbours from across the ditch. They do not have cricketers who come out of the back of the hand, anything like that. They just have to go about their job and stick by their strategies.
