England’s bowling trio of Adil Rashid, Chris Jordan and David Willey have attained the career-best rankings in the latest ICC T20I rankings. England was able to clean sweep the Windies in the three-match T20I series after a dominating display. Adil Rashid who scalped five wickets in the three-match series has made a jump of two positions to take his career-best ranking of third place.
In fact, this is for the first time in Rashid’s career when he has crossed 700 rating points. Chris Jordan who took six wickets in the series has also equalled his career-best rankings of 10th place. This is the first time that Jordan makes the cut into the top 10 bowlers since September 2017.

England players take impressive strides.
Furthermore, David Willey is hot on the heels of his teammate Jordan. The southpaw swing bowler is at the 11th position in the rankings table after taking six wickets in three matches.
On the other hand, England’s opener Jonny Bairstow has gained in the rankings chart. The right-hander scored 117 runs in the series which helped him take the 55th place with the career-best rating of 445 points.
Sam Billings had played a whirlwind knock of 87 runs in the second T20I which has helped him vault by 55 places to perch at 84th position.

Meanwhile, Nicholas Pooran has gained 18 places in the rankings ladder. The southpaw batsman has reached the 79th place whereas spinner Fabian Allen made a jump of 33 places to take the 72nd position. Furthermore, Sheldon Cottrell has made a gain of 15 places to get to the 79th rank.
On the other hand, England has overtaken Australia and South Africa to take the third T20I position in the latest ICC T20I Rankings. The Windies have remained at the seventh position but they have lost three rating points after the whitewash.
