South Africa’s opening batsman Reeza Hendricks and all-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo have exalted in the latest update of the ICC T20I Rankings. The Proteas went on clean sweep Sri Lanka in the three-match T20I series and their players have gained after a good performance. Reeza Hendricks has made a jump of 26 positions to take the 15th place after making 139 runs in the series.
On the other hand, all-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo has made a gain of 14 positions to take the 10th rank in the bowler’s rankings. The right-arm medium pacer had scalped seven wickets and took a four-wicket haul for 24 runs in the last T20I at Johannesburg.

Meanwhile, South Africas’s veteran batsman JP Duminy’s 76 runs in the series has helped make a move from 39th position to the 32nd place. Rassie van der Dussen’s made 98 runs in the series which has helped him take giant strides in the rankings ladder. The right-hander has moved from 74th to the 41st place.
In the bowler’s rankings, Chris Morris (up two places to 18th) and Tabraiz Shamsi (up 41 places to 35th). Meanwhile, Sri Lankan wicket-keeper batsman Niroshan Dickwella has moved by 19 places to grab the 78th position. Furthermore, Sri Lanka’s skipper Lasith Malinga has moved up by 11 places to take the 42nd position in the bowler’s rankings.
Furthermore, Isuru Udana has taken big steps in the batsmen in rankings. Isuru Udana has moved up by 106 places to perch at 144th rank after amassing 132 runs in the series. He had scored a fine knock of 84 runs in the series whereas he moved by 12 places to bag the 51st position in the rankings.
Meanwhile, there was no change in the team rankings in the latest update. South Africa remains at the fifth place whereas Sri Lanka is at the ninth position. However, the Proteas have added two points whereas Sri Lanka has lost two points in the rankings.
