#3. Chris Gayle

Arguably the greatest West Indies cricket in 21st century, Chris Gayle is playing in his last World Cup. Close to 40 years, Gayle is showing no signs of slowing down. He is in splendid form for West Indies against England in March.
Also, he showed similar form in recently concluded IPL 2019. He is very destructive and proved it once again against Pakistan on Friday. If there is any player who could break Sachin’s record when he is in form, then it has to be Chris Gayle.
In 2015 World Cup, the flamboyant southpaw scored a double hundred. If he can replicate the heroics once again, we might see a close competitor for the record.
