Austalia’s captain Aaron Finch has admitted the fact of following England vs South Africa game closely. Thus, it has marked the beginning of the extensive ICC World Cup 2019 campaign. Finch is mulling over making most of the opportunity early on with the new ball. However, he added that the conditions would also define the role at the beginning of the game.
Finch has recently witnessed Faf du Plessis bringing in experienced campaigner Imran Tahir to start proceedings in the curtain raiser against the World No.1 England at the Kennington Oval.
Finch took by surprise:

Thus, the trick worked as Tahir went on to dismiss Jonny Bairstow on the very second delivery of England’s innings.
“Tahir was great first up today as well. It took me by surprise watching it,” Finch told cricket.com.au.
Also, it has given a fair idea to the leaders how they could slow down things for the opposition.
Meanwhile, the reigning champions will take on less experienced Afghanistan in their World Cup opener on June 1st at the Bristol Cricket Ground.
Meanwhile, Australia is set to take a leaf out of Proteas’ book while backing either Adam Zampa or Glenn Maxwell to bowl with the brand new ball in Bristol.
Earlier, Zampa had bowled early on when Finch introduced him in sixth over of England’s innings before Aussies won the warm-up match by 12 runs.
Moreover, handy off-spinner Maxwell has bowled 11th over against Sri Lanka at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.
Adam Zampa or Glenn Maxwell:

So, it gives a fair idea of how Finch and his men will rely on their go-to strategy at the World Cup.
“We’ve got a lot of great options. If there’s two lefties in we’ve got Maxi and some great new-ball (fast) bowlers. But Zamps, he’s done it in the Big Bash quite a bit and T20s. He hasn’t done it for Australia as much but he did a great job the other day. He bowls stump to stump which is a huge advantage for a leg spinner,” Finch elaborated.
Besides, the cricket pundits apart from calling for high-scoring fixtures, believed the wrist spinners will bring a lot to the table.
On the other side, Afghanistan also boasts about their spin trio with Rashid Khan leading the race.
Well, Australian focusing primarily on their game plan. Notably, Finch further avails the services of Steven Smith and David Warner, who subsequently form a core group.
The duo brings in a wealth of experience which would eventually benefit the Kangaroos to go deep into the tournament.
In conclusion, Australia will be also banking on their pace bowlers, which includes Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins, respectively.
