Indian captain Virat Kohli tweeted a picture with Tottenham Hotspur star, Harry Kane at the Lord’s Cricket ground. He expressed his pleasure in meeting the England National Team’s football skipper. However, the Chelsea fan Abhishek Bachchan was quick enough to troll the skipper Kohli for the post.

The Bollywood celebrity, Abhishek Bachchan is a die-hard fan of the Chelsea Football Club. After Kohli posted the picture with Kane, the actor instantly replied to the Indian Captain’s post. He posted the picture of Kohli holding the number 18 shirt of Chelsea. Kohli had posted this picture in 2014 during India’s tour of England.

The Two World-Class Players Had Shared Tweets In The Past

In the past, the two World-Class players and skippers have shared tweets with each other. The England football team skipper, Harry Kane tweeted the same picture as Kohli did.

Kane post read as, “After a few tweets in the last couple of years good to finally meet @imVkohli. A great guy and a brilliant sportsman.”

Virat Kohli is a great supporter of football and is the co-owner of Goa Football Club in the Indian Super League. Last year when India toured England, Virat Kohli was welcomed by Southampton Football Club. Kohli had posed with Southampton striker Danny Ings holding a Saints jersey.

For now, the Indian National Cricket Team skipper Virat Kohli is going head-on against New Zealand in a practice match before the World Cup 2019. Kohli-led India will begin their campaign in the showpiece event on June 5 against South Africa. Before that, India will face second warm-up match against Bangladesh on 28 May.
