In the 37th match of the ICC World Cup 2019, Australia will face their Trans-Tasmanian arch-rivals in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019. The heavyweights are sitting well in the first four with Kangaroos already claiming their semi-final spot by winning six matches out of their eight. Meanwhile, on the eve of an enticing tie, Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar has bowled at Australian bowlers in the nets at historic Lord’s.

The bowling all-rounder Arjun has done this job long before. On the personal front, he is keen to deliver with the ball in his hand. In 2015, Arjun bowled at England batsmen for hours. He helped them in a bid to prepare for the second of the five-match Ashes series.

Arjun lives his dream as an aspiring bowling all-rounder:

Now, in 2019, the 19-year-old Arjun donned an orange tee and blue shorts to bowl under the watchful eyes of an Aussie assistant coach, Ricky Ponting. Also, Kangaroos’ skipper Aaron Finch has closely observed Arjun’s bowling in the nets. Finch is keen to tackle Kiwis Trent Boult on Saturday (June 29).

Ahead of Australia-New Zealand tie, Arjun steamed in, to bowl at sheer pace in the nets.

In the last week, Arjun bagged two wickets against Surrey’s Second XI while representing MCC Young Cricketers in High Wycombe. Arjun, who with the time has generated pace, has been proving his mettle while troubling top-notch batters at the nets.

But, his figures read two for 50 in 11 overs. The left-arm paceman Arjun has castled Surrey batsman Nathan Tilley.

And, apart from bagging a prized scalp of a top-order batsman, Arjun went on to dismiss BBA Geddes.

Arjun, who’s the part of India Under-19 team, has featured against Sri Lanka Under-19 in the two-match Youth Test series in July 2018. Also, he had bagged three wickets while featuring in Colombo and Hambantota.

Besides, in the recently-held T20s games against Hants 2nd XI, Arjun bagged three wickets in two matches.
