What a tournament it has been so far for Australia’s opening batsman David Warner. He once again smashed a brilliant century for his country in order to put them in the comfortable position at the end of the first innings against Bangladesh team in the ongoing league match.
Getting into the details of the match, initially, it was Australia, who won the toss, opted to bat first. Justifying the decision to bat first, the openers David Warner and Aaron Finch delivered goods for the team with their blistering striking. The duo knocked Bangladesh bowlers to all corners of the park.
David Warner-Aaron Finch added 121 runs for the first wicket:
David Warner, in particular, played with a lot of determination, as he never gave the chance after escaping of being out when he was at 9 runs. Aaron Finch, from the other end, showed his class by smashing the bowlers with his brilliant hitting.

After adding 121 runs for the first wickets, the skipper asked Soumya Sarkar to bowl a few overs, which he did exceptionally well. He got the wicket of Aaron Finch for the team, which stopped the flow of the runs for a brief period.
However, Usman Khawaja looked in a decent touch for this clash, who rotated the strike to David Warner at will. On the other hand, the well-set David Warner smashed yet another hundred to his name in the tournament. He followed it up by adding 66 runs to his total.

Once again, it was Soumya Sarkar, who delivered the goods by removing David Warner in the middle. It was followed by the disaster run out of Glenn Maxwell. Before being dismissed, Maxwell entertained fans with his blistering striking.
Later, it was against Soumya Sarkar, who dismissed Usman Khawaja to bring up his best bowling figures. However, Marcus Stoinis and Alex Carey batted till the 49 overs before rain making its way.

Awesome from Maxwell & a stunning 100 from Warner too. Khawaja doing great, but ridiculous he didn’t run. Why wasn’t this happening 20 overs ago. As I said in previous tweets, Aust has the fire power but have decided to play conservatively till the last 10 overs ! Why ?

Top stuff from Warner. At this rate, 350 could be on and that was improbable at one stage. Will be a far tougher chase for Bangladesh than the one against the West Indies

Our whole team managed to score 900 runs only.
Australian openers have scored above 800 runs so far. #AUSvBAN— Sohaib (@SKB_07) June 20, 2019

If Khawaja sacrificed his wicket for Maxwell, Australia would've easily went past 400. #AUSvBAN #CWC19
