ICC World Cup 2019: Ecstatic England Fan Celebrates World Cup Victory, Wins Internet
With many terming the recently held ICC World Cup 2019 finale – a game of the ‘century’, back at home in the suburbs, an old woman was seen praying in a video which broke the internet post-England’s maiden title triumph, that too, on the count of most boundaries. Luck, at all.
Like many, she had waited for decades to live this dream after England had faltered in one after another edition. But at Lord’s, 25 thousand-plus fans had witnessed the dramatic finale.
The nailing-biting thriller had witness die-hard fans praying in the stands and everywhere they could get access to the live telecast. Such has been the impact of final in the United Kingdom in particular.
The England fan had also reminded many of cricketing fans about 87-year-old Charulata Patel, who cheered for India against England.
Also, Charulata had thrown support behind by visiting the stadium for Bangladesh and Sri Lanka game.
Interestingly, in the 2-minute nine-second, the die-hard cricket fan screamed, cheered every delivery with one of her relatives recording her activity.
In between, an elderly woman, who is the grandmother of Gwen, had embraced a boy to win the internet.
“He’s out. He’s out. Have we won? I know he’s out!,” she said in a Twitter video posted by Gwen.
After the title victory, the England team had met outgoing UK Prime Minister Theresa May.
Besides, Eoin Morgan had personally thanked fans for their overwhelming support throughout their World Cup campaign.
Here’s how an older woman had celebrated England’s World Cup triumph:
