The former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has offered his services to the Indian Cricket Board in order to help their all-rounder Hardik Pandya scale newer heights. The Pakistani has found quite a few mistakes in the batting technique of Hardik Pandya, which he would like to resolve.
Recently, after the ban, Hardik Pandya made his way back into the side in New Zealand and immediately, made an impact on the game. He showed his skills in all sections of the game, which helped the Indian National Cricket Team to victories. He carried it in IPL 2019 and now, delivering for the Team India again.
On Thursday, Pandya scored a brisk 46 and shared a crucial 70-run partnership with M.S. Dhoni to help India post a competitive total of 268/7 against West Indies in their World Cup game at the Old Trafford. India came out with a clinical performance as they registered a thumping 125-run victory.
I am ready to work with Hardik Pandya – Abdul Razzaq
Hardik Pandya scalped Sunil Ambris’ wicket and smashed a 38 ball 46. He is the only Indian player on Thursday to have a strike rate exceeding 100 in the low scoring thriller. While his performance was generally praised, Abdul Razzaq noticed a few technical issues with his batting.
In a video message, he offered BCCI to give him Hardik Pandya for a couple of weeks. Abdul Razzak is confident that he can make Hardik Pandya as the best all-rounder in the world cricket.
“Today I watched the game between India and West Indies and saw Hardik Pandya bat for the first time. There were too many faults in his batting. If I spend two weeks with him, I can hopefully make him the best hitter and allrounder in the world,” said Abdul Razzaq. He also said that he is ready to work with Pandya if BCCI gives him permission for the same.”
