Shikhar Dhawan: Rating Points – 5/10

Shikhar Dhawan had not an ideal start in the World Cup when he lost his wicket at eight on the bowling of Kagiso Rabada. However, what followed is in itself a story to narrate in terms of courage.
The southpaw had slammed 117 off 109 balls against Australia despite a broken thumb. Following a 36-run over Australia, Dhawan was ruled out of the World Cup after receiving a blow on his left thumb when he was facing Pat Cummins.
Mayank Agarwal:

The promising batsman didn’t have a game following his inclusion in Team India’s World Cup squad at the expense of injured Vijay Shankar, who had nursed a toe injury.
