Well, Waqar Younis has felt that the Indian National Cricket Team has played the game in a wrong manner against England, which saw them losing two points. Adding to that, he called that a few Indian cricketers, who are regarded as champions have displayed poor sportsmanship. Meanwhile, Indian fans lashed out at the former Pakistan bowler.
Pakistan has rested their beliefs on the Indian team, who enjoyed great success in the tournament so far. They supported India to beat England, which would certainly make Pakistan way clear to head into Semifinals. Unfortunately, England got better off India, which didn’t go down well with Waqar Younis.

They failed badly – Waqar Younis
He questioned the integrity of the Indian team and also quoted that the champion players of India have failed their Test in sportsmanship. Waqar Younis indirectly meant that the Indian team has lost the game intentionally.
Digging into his tweet, it read ”It’s not who you are.. What you do in life defines who you are.. Me not bothered if Pakistan gets to the semis or not but one thing is for sure.. Sportsmanship of few Champions got tested and they failed badly.”

Apart from Waqar Younis, a lot of former cricketers have come down hard at the way India chased down the total. Especially the last five overs when Jadhav and MS Dhoni batted.
The duo added 39 runs in their partnership but there was no intent in their batting which left the fans disappointed. Even the likes of Nasser Hussain and Sourav Ganguly were baffled and criticised them on air.
Pakistan was banking on neighbours and arch-rivals India, who have enjoyed an unbeaten run in the tournament, to get the better of England. The favourable result would have increased the chances of Sarfaraz Ahmed’s men to make the semifinals. Though they weren’t out of the tournament, the game between England and the Kiwis will decide their fate.

Ask your team to win matches and avoid such situations ??????????

Waqar. I've got a huge amount of respect for you as you know. But that tweet is inflammatory and quite frankly irresponsible.
As soon as Hardik was out India knew chances of a win were gone and protected their NRR.
It's a tournament.

How can you make such allegations ?
When you team plays badly consistently at the start of the CWC that time u didn’t suspect any foul play ??
Our team plays one bad game & All Hell Breaks Lose On PAK Twitter ??♀️

Very irresponsible tweet. Who are u pass such judgement? If ur team suspect any foul play, lodge a complaint with ICC, let them investigate. There are hundreds of instances where ur team have collapsed like a pack of cards from a winning situation. Shall we pass the judgement?
